The Infidel has it spot on...

Leave it to Rachel to frame the Sciavo case in a way that us dog owners can understand.

It's a must read.

"It will probably only take 7 to 14 days for her heart to give up and stop beating. Her lips and eyes might get kind of dry, but I can slather Vaseline all over her face so she's not too uncomfortable towards the end. You know, while she STARVES TO GODDAMN DEATH LIKE WE COULDN'T EVEN LEGALLY INFLICT UPON SOMEONE LIKE ADOLF FUCKING HITLER."

Best of the worst? Big fish in little pond?

Not sure what this article is meaning to say. It starts out saying how popular this new "terrorist reality show is in Iraq". Then, when mentioning it is on al-Iraqiya, which is funded by the US, it is on an unpopular station. So, it is a 'television hit', but, only compared to the dismal ratings of the other shows on the same channel?

"Terror in the Grip of Justice has become the most watched show ever on al-Iraqiya, an unpopular channel set up and funded by the Americans.."

Oh this is a recipe for disaster...

Boy, this guy (the founder of Moveon.org) is projecting a bit...

"We see ourselves as a broad American public," he says. "We assume that things that resonate with our base resonate with America."

Yeah, that always works..assume everyone thinks like you and you will be just fine...not.

His tactic will work about as well as mine when I kept buying up Webvan from its IPO date up until it stopped trading. "I love this service, it HAS to work!!.. NO WAY can it go lower than $5..." "NO way can it go lower than $1"...."NO WAY can it go out of business!!!!".....
